"With the Unity Quilt Project, we want to commemorate the PAST, defend our democracy in the PRESENT and preserve our democracy for our FUTURE generations.
Our budgets are stretched to the max , so this is not a request for money, but it is a request for volunteers.
THERE IS POWER AND STRENGTH IN UNITING OUR VOICES!
Let’s show the world what hard-working citizens can accomplish without billions of dollars.
Everyone has the right to be heard and respected as equals.
This is your opportunity to contribute to healing and unifying And to be proud of living in a democracy!!!
After Pearl Harbor, we became creative - economic and industrial innovation surged with women taking on industrial roles in factories, as artists created powerful images to rally support that unified our nation. Together we showed the world how to protect and defend our democracy and the constitution of the United States.
We cannot become complacent today."
